The water temperature on the South Devon Coast is hovering around 10 degrees right now. This is my second winter of swimming without a wetsuit (in skins) and I’m learning something new every time I go for a swim in the sea. This week I’ve been working on my patience, waiting for the conditions at my local beach to be safe enough to swim. After two weeks of rain and high winds I was rewarded with a ‘refreshing’ dip, a healthy dose of Vitamin Sea, a post cold water immersion buzz and the warmth of the January sun on my face.
